Harry Griendling
Founder and CEO

As the Founder and CEO of DoubleStar, Harry has led the design, development and execution of over 900 talent acquisition and talent management projects for over 300 fast-growing technology-driven organizations, including GlaxoSmithKline, SAP Americas, Eli Lilly, Siemens Medical Solutions, AstraZeneca, Cisco, The Vanguard Group, The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Merrill-Lynch, Pfizer, Campbell Soup Company, Hershey Foods, CIGNA, Travelers Insurance, Ernst & Young, Main Line Health System, Schering-Plough, Pepsi, Teva Pharmaceuticals, JPMorganChase, Rogers Communications, Main Line Health Network, Capital One, Home Depot, TD Bank and over 50 technology or science-driven start-ups. 

Under Harry's leadership, DoubleStar has appeared twice on the INC 500 list of America's Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies and six times on the Philly 100 list of fastest-growing private companies in the Greater Philadelphia region. Harry is one of only 15 inaugural inductees into the Philadelphia Business Hall of Fame. 

Harry has authored and delivered over 100 educational seminars and presentations at regional, national, and international HR industry events. He has provided expert commentary in print and televised media for Fox Business News, The Wall Street Journal, CNN, MSNBC, USA Today, Reuters TV, The Washington Post, The Philadelphia Inquirer, Philly Business News Network and FOX29 News, among others.

As a member of Villanova University's adjunct faculty, he has designed and delivered graduate-level course work in Workforce Planning, Succession Planning and Talent Management principles.

Prior to Founding DoubleStar, Harry held leadership roles in Recruitment and Human Resources with Shared Medical Systems (now Siemens Health Services) and Premier Solutions, both IT leaders serving global clients in niche vertical markets.

Harry holds his Master's and Bachelor's degrees in English from The Pennsylvania State University. In addition, Harry is a lifelong musician and songwriter and in 2012 produced a CD of original music that is available commercially.

 
Luigi Lupo
Managing Director, Recruitment Delivery

Luigi possesses over 20 years of recruitment and staffing leadership experience, with expertise in designing global recruitment initiatives and solutions in the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Biotechnology, Financial Services, Consumer Packaged Goods, Healthcare, Education, eCommerce and Information Technology industries.

With DoubleStar, Luigi has led both national and international RPO projects for firms such as GlaxoSmithKline, Munich Reinsurance America, Noven Pharmaceuticals, NASDAQ, Citizen's Bank, Mercy Health System, ARAMARK, Travelers Insurance, Campbell's Soup, Reckitt Benckiser, Teva Pharmaceuticals, PepsiCo and Eli Lilly, among others. Luigi also leads both DoubleStar's Talent Market Research and Sourcing Process Outsourcing services and teams.

Luigi earned his Bachelor's in Human Resources and Marketing from Temple University and is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Human Capital Institute (HCI).

 
Christine Treski
Director, Recruitment Delivery

Christine is responsible for managing and executing high-volume recruitment projects across a variety of industries. Christine brings to her role 15+ years of full life-cycle recruiting experience within the Pharmaceutical, Financial, Information Technology, Human Resources, Insurance and Healthcare industries.

Prior to joining DoubleStar in 2008, Christine served as recruitment manager for Modular Space Corporation, where she was responsible for all hiring within the United States, including executive positions. Christine also served as an Account Manager with Peak Technical Services and was a Branch Manager with USA Staffing.

Christine holds a B.A. in Communications from the University of Pittsburgh.

 
Tony Trasatti
Managing Director, Recruitment Solutions

Tony is responsible for developing new client relationships and designing and leading recruitment project teams on long-term engagements. Tony joined DoubleStar in 2005, bringing extensive experience in specialized recruiting services from a successful career in the Executive Search business. His experience ranged from starting a contingency-based recruitment firm to heading a multi-specialty retainer search firm with major clients throughout the US. He personally worked directly with financial, human resources and operations executives in completing highly confidential and difficult search assignments. Tony's extensive recruiting expertise provides operational and strategic insight into the day-to-day management of the sales, marketing and project management processes of DoubleStar.

Tony holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from The Pennsylvania State University. He is an active member of the Tri-State Human Resources Management Association and the Society for Human Resource Management. He is also a member of the Electronic Recruiting Exchange.

 
Barbara Herbein, SPHR, SHRM-SCP
Director of Operations and Project Support

Barbara joined DoubleStar in 1994 and leads DoubleStar's business operations, contract administration, human capital and administrative management functions. She has played an integral role as a member of the Leadership Team to set strategic direction for the company, as well as assist in daily operational management. She was instrumental in developing the delivery framework for DoubleStar's market-leading Talent Intelligence services. In addition, Barbara is responsible for DoubleStar's HR practices, processes and technology, including the design and implementation of the company's Human Resources Information System.

Prior to joining DoubleStar, Barbara served in lead corporate administrative and operational roles with some of the area's leading technology and financial services organizations. Barbara served as Production Manager with Automated Catalogue Services, where she developed, implemented and managed a high-volume electronic catalogue production process delivered via CD-ROM for one of the region's first start-up electronic publishing firms.

Previously, as Office Manager for a local satellite office of The Northern Trust Company, Barbara managed all office functions for Northern's sales and development teams. In addition, in her role as Executive Assistant, Barbara was responsible for managing the daily activities of the CEO and CFO of Premier Systems, a developer of banking and securities systems. She also served as the company's Corporate Secretary and later as Human Resources Manager with responsibility for all human resources functions and recruiting.

Barbara holds her Senior Professional in Human Resources certification from The HR Certification Institute, a SHRM Senior Certified Professional certification from Society of Human Resource Management, and is a Merit Graduate of the Katharine Gibbs School. Barbara is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and is also a member of and serves on the Board of Directors of the Chester County Human Resources Association (CCHRA).

 
Ken DeCarlo
Managing Director, Recruitment Delivery

With over 20 years of Recruitment, Staffing Management and HR experience, and as a 15-year veteran of DoubleStar, Ken brings considerable national and global staffing expertise to the DoubleStar team. He has planned, organized, resourced and executed complex RPO projects for leading employers, including ARAMARK, SAP Americas, Pepco Holdings, Inc., and Siemens Medical Solutions, among others. He has also led consulting and training engagements with Einstein Healthcare Network, Munich Reinsurance America, Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca, Southern Company, PHI and GlaxoSmithKline.

Prior to joining DoubleStar, Ken served as HR Director for a rapidly growing global division of M&M Mars, and HR and Staffing Director at The Vanguard Group, where he managed a team of 25 staffing specialists and a support staff of 10 responsible for delivering 2,500 hires annually across the entire enterprise.

Ken holds a Master's in Human Resources, an MS in Psychology from Villanova University, and a Bachelor's in Psychology from Millersville University. Ken is the President of the Board of Directors for the Villanova graduate HR program. Ken also teaches graduate-level courses on Recruitment and Staffing topics in Villanova's graduate HR Program.
