Global Chemical Manufacturer Implements New Recruiting Toolset in 4 Weeks
When a global manufacturing company sold a business unit to a private equity firm, the newly formed company needed a full suite of recruiting technology tools quickly to support its aggressive growth plans. The company turned to DoubleStar to help them design a candidate-friendly career site and select and implement a new ATS and related recruiting tools in a compressed time frame.
In partnership with the client, DoubleStar designed and implemented a fully functional recruiting solution to support hiring in 38 countries worldwide. We developed requirements for an efficient global recruiting workflow and documented the new processes. We then helped the client select a new ATS based upon new process requirements. We also developed system workflows, implemented the new ATS, and developed and delivered user training to the client’s global team. Finally, we worked with the client’s in-house marketing team to develop a career site and front-end interfaces that promoted the client’s employment brand in its highly competitive talent markets around the globe. After the implementation, we continue to provide support for workflow changes, reporting improvements, and iterative updates.
Nearly 3 years after the initial go-live, the client's career site is attracting nearly 200,000 applicants annually, consistently supplying a talent pool sufficient to support the hiring needs of its 13,000-employee organization. The new ATS/Career Site combination has improved this client’s SEO performance, enhanced the candidate experience at the beginning of the recruitment process, and has improved passive candidate capture. And it is now much easier to maintain and enhance compared to the client’s previous implementation. This project was completed under budget, with the new ATS up and running within four weeks.
